I am a self taught seamstress that enjoys sewing things for my kids. I enjoy learning new techniques and skills so the internet has been my classroom. Along the way I have turned to my beloved Google search bar when I am seeking tutorials on how to take my sewing to the next level but have found that not all tutorials and videos are created equal. I am a member of a couple of sewing groups on Facebook and have found them to be an invaluable tool. I am learning things a year after getting serious with my hobby that I really should have been doing from the beginning.
My goal is to help other seamstresses have a place they can go where basic technique, along with continued education skills, can be learned so that your projects can be exactly what you want them to be.
Please feel free to ask questions, request posts on a technique you are wanting to learn, etc. I will also review and recommend patterns, fabrics & notions, and many other things. I am by no means an expert but I look forward to sharing what I have learned and hope to teach a few in the process.
